Important Information
The following terms and conditions apply to all speakers, presenters, exhibitors, vendors, and others participating in the annual conference of the Oregon Association for Comprehensive Education (OACE).
Application Process
Step 1: ApplyThe first step is to apply to participate. After your application is received, it will be reviewed by the Committee for approval.

STEP 2: ApprovalUpon approval by the Committee, you will receive an email from OACE with an approval letter & with registration instructions.

STEP 3: RegisterWith your approval letter you will also receive a discount code. Please use that discount code to register for the event, and make payment, if necessary.

Planning your Presentation
Target audiences include:
Keynotes and breakouts are presented in audiences in English or Spanish or both. Interpreters are available to ensure all participants understand their sessions.
- Parents, especially those with children who are identified as migrant, bilingual, ELL, SpEd, dual language, etc.
- Teachers, including specialists, who serve students identified as migrant, bilingual, ELL, SpEd, etc., or with students in dual language programs.
- Other Educators, including counselors, administrators, etc, who work with students students and staff who are identified as migrant, bilingual, ELL, SpEd, dual language, etc.
- Program support staff, including migrant recruiters, and others, who work with students students and staff who are identified as migrant, bilingual, ELL, SpEd, dual language, etc.

Liability Waiver
By applying to participate in the OACE Conference, applicant hereby acknowledges that he/she is a qualified independent, insured presenter, vendor, exhibitor, speaker or representative of their affiliated organization or of their own accord, and:
- Assumes responsibility and risk associated with all conditions, acts of God, hazards and potential dangers in, on, or about a booth/table-top site whether they are obvious or concealed.
- Releases, indemnifies and holds harmless the Oregon Association for Comprehensive Education damage, or liability to person or property sustained by reason of the presence of the vendor before, during, and after the OACE Annual Conference.
About Workshops
The purpose of our workshops is to disseminate information and provide skills and strategies for our participants to use. As such, selling materials or programs are not permitted during the workshop sessions, but you can point participants to your booth for more information about the products you have available.
Photography release
I grant the Oregon Association for Comprehensive Education (OACE) and its representatives the right to take photographs/audio/video of me and my property in connection with the OACE Annual Conference in Seaside, Oregon. I authorize OACE, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that OACE may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
If you Reserve a Booth
Booth reservations include: complimentary coffee and beverage bar, continental breakfast both days, lunch both days, and dinner on Friday for two representatives. It also includes repesenation of your company and web link on the OACE website (information uploaded upon receipt of payment), a 1/2 page black and white promotional layout in our program (upgrade to a full page and/or color available above), and the opportunity to present a workshop.** If you are interested in presenting, please submit the Presenter Application/Registration Form.
Printing & Copies
Printing services are available at the conference site for a fee. However, it is recommended you bring your own copies for attendees. Please prepare for 30-40 participants per session.
